Inquiry. Impact. Inspiration.
Story is one of the most powerful forms of medicine to spark transformative change. My work helps audiences uncover revolutionary ideas and understandings, allowing them to leave with a new perspective on how to catalyze profound healing from within and seek the truest Justice possible in this world and in themselves.
My work is used in organizations to create cultural change so that individuals can thrive at their highest level and the collective can flourish. I uniquely combine my 25+ years experience in Integrative mental health, Anti-racism work, global trauma, curriculum creation, and thought leadership into a customized approach.
I offer keynote sessions, more in depth workshops with practical experientials, or I am available to consult with organizations on creating or refining entire wellness programs, always through the lens of inclusion and equity. I have extensive experience in both creating de novo wellness programs as well as on-the-ground expertise in creating and refining programs for large organizations.

“Joy is Justice, Especially Through Suffering and Burnout”
If you or your group have ever felt like Joy was not accessible or that you weren’t ‘resilient’ enough, or ‘good enough’ at feeling better, this session is a unique and inspiring approach to finding a new perspective on wellness. We explore the concept of Joy, how it is different than happiness and toxic positivity, and why it is so crucial to prevent and heal from burnout in our professional and personal lives. We also explore practical strategies to access Joy and the simple and accessible neuroscience of how and why they work. Your group will leave this session inspired and empowered to find a sense of well-being that stands alone from the external hardships of life, while still acknowledging those need to change.
“Joy As a Disruptor to the Systems that Oppress Us”
We explore the profound practice of Joy, how it is distinctly different from happiness, and the exact components of this healing medicine to reveal the truest Justice you will ever know, the kind that lives in your body. Joy is available to all of us, through suffering or oppression, and is not a contrived solution but rather a way to hold and navigate challenge. This talk will leave your audience inspired and empowered to make practical change in their lives.
“Why Not Me?”
One simple change—this question as an embodied micro-resistance-to your usual response to challenge and suffering creates a profound cascade of changes, bringing you closer to Joy. Through transformative mind-body medicine, neuroscience, and self-inquiry, we explore this radical shift as a springboard for catalyzing powerful change in the individual and collective.
Workshop Examples
“Creating a culture of Joy and well-being at work”
An experiential workshop for your organization that goes beyond the usual platitudes of wellness. We explore what it means to be well and access greater Joy and Well-being and then the practical skills of how to do this in a busy workplace. I use my expertise in group facilitation, mind-body medicine, neuroscience and the weaving of powerful story to open the group to the possibility of creating a new culture at work and for themselves.
“Why Toxic Positivity is Harmful and How to Access Joy in a Cruel and Unjust World”
An experiential workshop to help create a culture of wellness in your organization that values authenticity and equity. We explore skills like breath work, gratitude and self-compassion but in a new frame that demonstrates their power while still acknowledging the challenges. For example, we explore the powerful neuroscience of gratitude to debunk myths around this practice and explore how to practically use gratitude in organizations to spark cultural change. I use transformative and inspiring stories, experiential exercises, and accessible neuroscience.
